    Overview

    This project proposes a new holistic multisectoral approach for addressing residual malaria in coastal and Sahelian West African countries. The project will use the following interventions to achieve the objectives:

    Mali: Reduction of environmental hotspots

    Benin: Rational use of agro-insecticides and reduction of agricultural hotspots

    Nigeria: Quality checks of LLINs for maintaining their efficacy under IR-context

    Burkina Faso: Reduction of agriculture hotspots

    Qualitative and Quantitative data collection of WASH facilities and practices in selected health care units

    Establishment of an MSA Task force for improved control of residual malaria in project countries
